PLACED | Paris 5th Arrondissement | English-Speaking After-School Nanny | September 2025 A well-known family from our agency is seeking an English-speaking nanny to assist with their two children: a 9-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.
Currently, the family employs two English-speaking nannies, each responsible for one child. The nanny caring for the girl is leaving her position, and the nanny caring for the boy will continue until December 2025.
The new nanny will take over both children starting January 2026.
During school terms, the nanny will work as follows:
Mondays: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Total: 36 hours per week
The nanny will pick up the little girl from school at 4:00 PM, accompany her to extracurricular activities, and assist with homework.
During school holidays, the nanny will work as follows:
Monday to Friday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Total: 55 hours per week
From September 2025 to January 2026, the nanny will care solely for the little girl. From January 2026 onwards, the nanny will be responsible for both children.
Responsibilities:
Engage the children in various activities to promote their personal development.
Maintain and enhance their English language skills by speaking exclusively in English.
No household chores are required.
5 weeks of paid vacation annually.
Requirements:
Must have an EU passport or valid work authorization in France.
Experience with children and a passion for early childhood education.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Salary: €3,500 net per month
An evening taxi home will be provided on Mondays when working until 11:00 PM.
