About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and professional Legal Secretary to join a dynamic legal team in Limerick. This role offers a great opportunity to work across various legal areas, providing high-quality support.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and proactive, with a strong ability to adapt to the needs of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading a range of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Transcribing dictations.
  • Managing client files and ensuring accurate filing (both paper and digital).
  • Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and post.
  • Scheduling meetings, diary management, and organizing court dates or appointments.
  • Communicating professionally with clients, courts, and third parties.
  • Supporting in document preparation for court hearings or transactions.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all legal and data protection standards.
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing, and legal aid paperwork where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary or legal administrator.
  • Excellent typing and MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • Experience in conveyancing is an advantage.
