Building a sustainable tomorrow We are recruiting for a Caretaker to join our team in our Cork Courthouse facility. Your mission Carry out daily inspection of facilities. Key Holding - opening and closing of the facilities. Moving and re-arranging furniture. Setting up areas for exhibitions and special events. Attending to alarms (e.g. fire and emergency). Minor Works and maintenance. Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance. Carrying out general building fabric maintenance. Working on the external upkeep on the grounds. Porterage and general duties moving and delivering items to staff. Liaising with the helpdesk and carrying out reactive tasks. Overseeing and accompanying site subcontractors. Monitoring and working on the waste management of the facilities. General Cleaning Duties including scrubber drier. Supporting reactive cleaning duties. First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. Fire Warden duties. Work to BAM Safety, Quality and Environmental standar ds. Who are we looking for? Knowledge of Building Operations. Experience in working on a team. Be hardworking and diligent. Good time keeping. Good level of DIY repair skills and problem solving skills. Manual Handling Cert. Safe Pass. Vetting Required. Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and procedures.. Ability to work effectively with people from a wide range of levels and responsibilities. What's in it for you?
