Quality, Safety and Compliance Lead

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of our new Adult ID sector client for a Quality, Safety & Compliance Lead. This is a key leadership role within a growing rights-based organisation delivering person-centred residential services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of the organisations Quality, Safety, Governance and Regulatory Compliance framework. A significant initial responsibility will include supporting the organisations first HIQA registration for new residential services. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with HIQA, HSA and all relevant legislation. Lead initial HIQA registration and ongoing regulatory engagement. Implement a service-wide quality and safety framework. Oversee incidents, audits, investigations and risk management. Develop and maintain policies, procedures and operational guidance. Support residential managers with on-site quality and compliance matters. Deliver training on quality, safeguarding, incident management and standards. Establish KPIs, analyse data and produce quality and safety reports. Promote continuous improvement and a culture of learning. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years experience in Quality, Compliance or Risk roles within regulated health or social care. Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and safeguarding legislation. Experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams and driving change. Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Nursing, Health & Social Care, Quality, OHS or related fields. Experience in audits, QI projects or staff training is desirable.
