Description: We are hiring for our client, a top Automation company based in their office in Limerick, which produces high-quality automation solutions that impact the execution of real-world machinery and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automation Engineer to to assist in the development, commissioning and support of automation control systems across a wide spectrum of industries utilising cutting edge technologies.

The Role:

- Assist in the development, commissioning, and support of automation control systems across various industries using cutting-edge technologies.
- Work on a wide variety of projects in all industry sectors using the latest technology and software.
- Design and deliver high-quality automation solutions.
- Interact with customers to understand and meet technical requirements.
- Assess existing technologies and processes to enhance performance.
- Document projects and manage change control.
- Independently manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Provide technical support to operations.

The Person:

- Third level qualification in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Preferred experience with Rockwell, Ignition, Siemens, OSI PI Historian, VBA.
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP is advantageous.
- Cisco Networking qualification and/or VMware or equivalent is a plus.
- Familiarity with robotics and safety standards is a bonus.
- Ambitious, confident, and professional individual with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
