About Reap Reap is a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong with employees across multiple countries. We enable financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide by combining traditional finance with stablecoins for efficient money movement. Through our stablecoin-powered corporate cards, payments, and expense management tools, we streamline financial operations and help businesses scale. Our APIs enable businesses to integrate stablecoin-enabled finance into their own products and services—from issuing Visa cards to facilitating cross-border payments. Backed by leading investors including Index Ventures and HashKey Capital, Reap is building the future of borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance.
Role Overview Reap is scaling rapidly, and our People team is at the core of that growth. We believe building a strong, connected, and engaged team is key to our success. As we grow in complexity and size, we’re looking for a People Operations Partner to join us and help knit together the various parts of our HR function, from strategy to day-to-day operations. This role is based in Ireland, with a global remit from day one. You’ll support initiatives across multiple regions, working hand-in-hand with our People Operations Lead and collaborating with specialists in Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and Learning & Engagement. Over time, you’ll also grow into taking greater ownership of Ireland and EU region-specific support, including employment law and regulatory compliance. You’ll be the trusted go-to person across functions — someone who can spot what’s needed and step in without hesitation. As Reap grows, this role will expand in scope and evolve with the company. That’s why we need someone who thrives in change, embraces ambiguity, and is driven to make a meaningful impact.
What You'll Do Strategic Partnership Review people processes and data (turnover, performance, engagement, L&D) and bring clarity and insights into every conversation.
Help teams identify what they need (even if they don’t know it yet), and co-create action plans.
Drive initiatives that support team success, aligned with KPIs and company goals.
Operational & Ad-Hoc HR Design and document scalable SOPs for end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
Act as the first responder for urgent or unplanned HR issues across global teams.
Own and execute a wide range of employee lifecycle tasks (queries, documentation, policy application, SOPs).
Collaborate with People specialists to triage tasks and projects across time zones, as well as support the team where needed.
Employee Experience & Support Champion a hands-on, human-first approach to employee support.
Be a reliable sounding board for employees, and escalate issues with context and care.
Support performance conversations, L&D delivery, and engagement survey follow-ups.
Regional Compliance & Growth (Ireland/EU) Act as the local HR point of contact for employees and managers in Ireland.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to run end-to-end hiring for select roles across Ireland, Europe and more, ensuring compliant practices.
Ensure people processes align with Irish and EU employment law and regulatory requirements, including those set by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Over time, take on greater responsibility for regional compliance, employee relations, and regulatory frameworks across the EU.
We're Looking for Someone With 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering or Generalist roles, ideally in high-growth, fast-moving environments.
A business and people-first mindset. You understand company strategy and translate it into people actions.
Strong project management skills. You can scope, prioritize, and drive people initiatives to completion.
Proven ability to influence and coach individuals on performance, development, and team dynamics.
Solid understanding of employee relations, performance, engagement, and change management.
Comfort working with HRIS and people data; you can extract insights and build dashboards that inform decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, concise, and audience-aware.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first setting, manage shifting priorities, and proactively pick up what’s needed.
High integrity and sound judgment. People trust you, and you handle sensitive matters with care and confidentiality.
Must have knowledge in Fitness and Probity (F&P) Regime and the Individual Accountability Framework (IAF), including SEAR, and how they impact people practices in regulated financial services.
Familiarity with employment law in Ireland and the EU, including contracts, statutory and Fintech standard benefits, leave entitlements and termination procedures.
Ability to navigate compliance requirements and ensure alignment with Central Bank of Ireland regulations within the broader context of global People Operations.
Nice to Have Experience working in a remote-first or globally distributed team.
Knowledge of employment practices across multiple APAC or global geographies.
Experience scaling HR programs across 150–300 person organizations.
A passion for people, data and turning it into business value.
Need to Know This role begins with a global focus — supporting people operations, engagement, and performance initiatives across all regions. At the same time, it requires a strong foundation in Irish and EU employment law and regulatory frameworks. Over time, you’ll take on increasing responsibility for ensuring compliance and people support across Ireland and the wider EU region, while balancing consistency with Reap’s global People practices. As Reap continues to scale and take on new challenges, this role will evolve in scope — making adaptability and a growth mindset essential. Responsibilities may evolve over time, and the ideal candidate is comfortable with change and open to taking on ad-hoc projects or additional responsibilities based on team needs and personal growth interests.
