As a Junior Structural Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and project teams on a variety of exciting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structural design, analysis, and site coordination while developing your career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of structural calculations, reports, and drawings for a range of building and infrastructure projects.
- Support senior engineers in the design and detailing of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
- Work with BIM technicians to develop 2D and 3D models.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, reporting on progress and quality control.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with Irish and European codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (Level 8 or above) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 0–2 years of post-graduate experience (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, Robot, SCIA, or similar).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Progress toward or interest in chartership (IEI/IStructE).
- Internship or co-op experience in a structural engineering setting.
