Contract Opportunity: Technical Functional Analyst - API and Open Banking We are hiring for contract roles in a leading financial institution's Dublin office (2 days per week in the office in city centre). These are 6-month plus contracts supporting a strategic transformation programme in Transaction Banking. Are you a skilled Technical Functional Analyst with strong experience in API technologies, Open Banking frameworks environments? Join a growing Cash Management Solutions team focused on delivering secure, scalable and compliant services across EMEA. Key Responsibilities Analyse and document business and regulatory requirements for API and Open Banking services Translate functional needs into technical specifications and user stories Design and support RESTful API integration for payments, collections, liquidity and reporting Ensure APIs meet security, authentication and consent management standards Support system testing and automation using tools such as Postman, SoapUI or JMeter Collaborate with internal teams and external partners including ERP providers and fintechs Maintain API documentation, data flow diagrams and integration guides Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards Skills and Experience Required Experience in banking, ideally within Corporate or Transaction Banking Strong understanding of REST, JSON, OAuth2 and OpenAPI specifications Familiarity with Open Banking standards such as PSD2 and ISO 20022 Exposure to API gateways, developer portals and cloud-based integration platforms Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Detail-oriented, proactive and confident in taking ownership Why Apply Be part of a high-impact programme transforming Cash Management services Work in a collaborative, fast-paced international environment Competitive daily rate and long-term project potential We are committed to inclusive recruitment.
