Senior Business Analyst 196238 Desired skills: Senior, Business Analyst, Payments, FinTech Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - FinTech/PaymentsLocation: Cork (Hybrid)Salary: 85-90K DOE + benefits packageAbout the Role Hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a fast-growing Irish FinTech organisation that delivers global payments and FX solutions. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance and Commercial teams to drive requirements for payments platforms (multi-channel acquiring, orchestration, cross-border, and ensure new features and regulatory changes are delivered smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering workshops with technical and business stakeholders.Produce detailed BRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases and data mapping documents.Analyse complex payments workflows (eCommerce, PoS, MOTO, SEPA, SWIFT, 3DS, fraud rules).Bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery in an Agile environment.Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts and facilitate decision-making.Support UAT, change management and post-launch reviews.Identify process improvements and contribute to the BA community of practice.Requirements6+ years as a Business Analyst, with at least 3-4 years in FinTech/Payments.Deep domain knowledge of payments processing, acquiring, gateways or orchestration platforms.Proven ability to document complex integrations and regulatory requirements (PSD2, GDPR, AML).Expert with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart/Visio, SQL for data analysis.Strong facilitation and influencing skills - comfortable pushing back and driving consensus.Experience of full project lifecycle from discovery through to live rollout.Relevant degree or professional certification (CBAP, Agile BA, advantageous.What We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits.Structured professional development and career progression pathways.Hybrid working model for optimal work-life balance.Inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and individuality.Equal opportunities employer.
