JOB DETAILS: Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Network Operations Engineer to join our clients technical team. This is a full-time position offering 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week during weekdays and will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of network infrastructure across various environments. This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to resolve complex network issues in real time REQUIRED: 4+ years experience with NOC concepts, practices, and procedures 2+ years of Linux administration and server hardening. Knowledge of SS7, telecommunication systems and message/content delivery systems Thorough knowledge of networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring and SNMP principles Knowledge of industry standards, best practices and security policies and procedures EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: Problem solving skills and ability to apply creative tactical solutions to business needs Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills Bachelors degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience Must be flexible/able to travel to customer or remote site locations when necessary Must be able to work irregular hours (24x7 on-call) Must be on-call for support of escalated issues Customer facing planning and coordination with new and existing carriers Develop deployment guidelines and assisting with the resolution of challenging problems Hours Of Work: 10 Hours shifts for 4 days (Monday to Thursday 5am to 3pm (10 hours x 4 = 40 hours) during the weekdays with work from home option (remote).
