The Contacts team within Alexa Communications is seeking exceptional Software Development Engineers with 3-6 years of experience to join our dynamic, multi-faceted team. As a Software Development Engineer on our team, you'll be immersed in a world of diverse technical challenges. Your mission will involve developing sophisticated algorithms for enhanced search and ranking in contact management, designing and building highly scalable distributed backend systems, and leveraging the latest in LLM technology to make Alexa's voice interactions more intuitive and natural. You'll collaborate across teams to solve complex technical challenges that span the entire Alexa ecosystem, ensuring that our users have the most seamless and efficient communication experience possible. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
