Network Engineer II

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Network Engineer II within our Global Networkingteam to help support ourbusiness. As a Network Engineer II you will have the opportunity to support and modernize network platforms and infrastructure for a Global S&P 500 organization. We are looing for candidates that are located in Dublin, Ireland or Prelog Springs, Croatia and you will have the chance to work remotely or out of a branch at these locations.
Essential responsibilities of a Network Engineer II:
- Support and manage critical network infrastructure
- Proactive monitoring/maintenance and configuration of mission critical WAN and LAN components
- Administration and management of firewall and security platforms
- Integration of leading Cybersecurity and network solutions
- Documenting issue resolutions and changes in system configurations that conform to ITIL best practices
A few things you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in network administration
- Broad understanding of LAN and WAN infrastructure and protocols, BGP routing
- Hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls and switches (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, etc.).
- Experience in complex switching, routing and wireless network environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills.
Things we consider a plus:
- Experience with Fortinet deployments, migrations, and maintenance.
- Experience in wireless networking technologies, including Aruba Central, Clearpass, and access points.
- Exposure to OT cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools used in industrial environments.
