Our client is a medium-sized accountancy practice in Dublin, currently seeking a Tax Manager to head up their tax department. The successful Tax Manager will be leading the Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory team on a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients which operate across a broad range of sectors. Responsibilities Management and Growth of the Tax Department in the firm Planning, organising and controlling the completion of tax compliance. Providing intelligent and creative solutions to client tax issues both reactively and proactively and presenting solutions to complex technical issues. Assist with planning staffing allocation and deadlines. Develop close client relationships, understand their business and play a part in winning new work Requirements The successful Tax Manager will be ACCA/ACA/CTA Qualified. Minimum 6 years of Tax experience within an Irish practice. Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to identify opportunities for clients. Display commitment, effort, motivation, and initiative in all business dealings. Experience in managing and leading a team of qualified professionals CTA qualifications are desirable but not required. Benefits €70,000 - €80,000 DOE Friendly culture. Clear progression pathway.
