First Swim - Ireland's only bespoke baby & toddler swimming school in Dublin Overview
First Swim Sandyford is looking to hire a Full Time Manager for its busy swim school at the Beacon South Quarter, starting in January 2026.
We are Ireland's only purpose-built baby & toddler swim school teaching children from 10 weeks to 3 years old with our own on-site heated pool and private cafe.
The role will be primarily non-pool based so the manager can focus on the day to day operations of the school and engage with our customers.
Experience in swim school/leisure management or childcare management is essential as you will be leading a team of 6 enthusiastic swim teachers. For those with only childcare experience, full swim teacher training can be arranged.
For the right candidate we may be able to accommodate an earlier start date.

Starting salary is between €35-40K based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead all staff, overseeing staff rotas for shifts and breaks
Ensure all areas of the centre are clean and safe at all times
Manage a small coffee dock, serve coffee and manage stock requirements
Provide admin support to the swim teachers and to the company director
Oversee bookings, general enquiries and merchandise sales
Promote the First Swim brand via social media
Role Requirements
Strong communication skills, works well with others, positive attitude
Highly professional, well presented and welcoming manner
Experience working with parents, babies & toddlers is an advantage
Basic IT skills required for bookings and general administrative work
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
Swim teaching qualification is essential, but training can be provided
First Aid and Safeguarding training can be provided
Garda vetting required
Must be eligible to work in Ireland
