We seek talented Software Development Engineers with expertise in large-scale systems to join our mission. Ideal candidates are passionate problem-solvers who can drive innovative solutions from design to deployment. You will play a key role in developing global fulfillment models, requiring creativity and excellence. Key job responsibilities
1. Collaborate with Principal Engineers to shape the technical and architectural vision for our large item and service data models and systems.
2. Architect and implement extensible frameworks managing the entire lifecycle of large item and service transactions on our platform.
3. Develop innovative solutions for complex challenges in fulfillment planning, last-mile execution, return prevention, concession reduction, post-order care, and multi-box fulfillment.
4. Create a scalable platform integrating external partners for efficient fulfillment and execution.
5. Spearhead the design and development of solutions supporting diverse operational models and supply sources, ensuring adaptability and scalability.
6. Champion the adoption of pioneering technologies and develop efficient algorithms for processing large datasets.
7. Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering best practices in design, coding, testability, and security.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2. 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
3. 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
4. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
5. Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
6. Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
7. Deep technical expertise and hands-on architectural understanding of cloud-scale distributed and service-oriented architectures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
2. Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
3. Have had impact and influence across multiple teams.
