My client a multinational manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for a Qualified Financial Accountant.
- Assist the Assistant Financial Controller with financial reporting and forecasting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of management reports for senior leadership.
- Support financial reviews by analysing monthly results and investigating variances.
- Perform liquidity, treasury, and working capital analysis, including forecasting and reporting.
- Take ownership of the expense reporting process, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with external audit preparation and statutory financial statements.
- Support compliance with tax and statutory obligations.
- Act as a finance business partner across departments, collaborating on ad hoc projects and day-to-day operations.
- Provide support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Complete bank reconciliations promptly and accurately.
- Carry out general ledger account reconciliations and process journals to ensure accurate month-end accounts.
- Assist with external financial filings and reporting (e.g., CSO, Revenue).
- Support cashflow monitoring and forecasting.
- Manage administrative tasks related to financial operations.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including tracking additions and disposals.
- Provide cover for weekly payroll processing when required
Requirements
Fully qualified ACCA, ACA
Degree in Finance/Accounting or related.
3 years experience in similar role.
