Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and tax filings. Deliver high-quality accounting, compliance, and advisory services in line with statutory requirements and firm standards. Prepare income tax returns for individuals, directors, and sole traders, and assist with corporation tax compliance as required. Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries, provide financial insights, and build strong professional relationships. Review work prepared by junior team members, providing feedback, coaching, and technical support. Assist in developing and improving internal processes to ensure efficiency and consistency in service delivery. Stay current on accounting and regulatory developments to ensure compliance and best practice. Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). Minimum of 1year post-qualification experience within a professional practice environment. Solid technical grounding in Irish GAAP and familiarity with FRS 102. Strong working knowledge of Irish tax compliance for both individuals and companies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and explain complex financial information clearly. Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to tight deadlines. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office applications.
