We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our client's dynamic team in Dublin. If you have a passion for building scalable web applications and thrive in collaborative environments, this is your chance to contribute to impactful projects at a leading technology company.

Essential functions

1. Develop and enhance features within an existing Ruby on Rails web application
2. Write comprehensive unit and system tests to ensure high-quality deliverables
3. Improve and expand CRUD operations within the evaluation data model and framework
4. Enhance UI/UX to make data collection intuitive and accessible for a diverse user base
5. Build performant, customer-centric solutions that prioritize end-user satisfaction

Qualifications

- Solid professional experience with Ruby on Rails development
- Strong SQL expertise, particularly with PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in understanding complex Rails controllers and nested model attributes
- Experience with Bootstrap JS for frontend enhancements
- Knowledge of ActiveJob frameworks for offloading background tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively across teams and organizations

Would be a plus

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
