Job Title: Test Manager (Intermediate)
Location: Dublin 01, (Hybrid Working Model) Contract / Permanent: 12 Months with further Extension Start date: 2nd October 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter
Experience Level Required: It is mandatory that the Resource has the equivalent of intermediate level experience (i.e., >4 years) in this role
Key Deliverables:
1. Engage with Systems Development and ICT Teams, business users, and future customers to oversee end-to-end testing of systems (case management and portal) and maintain quality assurance processes.
2. Responsible for established test processes, using JIRA, Testrail, and Microsoft Office for management and control of testing.
3. Create test cases based on functional and non-functional specifications, including reliability, usability, security, etc.
4. Develop traceability records linking test cases to requirements.
5. Manage/test scripts, regression packs, and testing of new and amended software.
6. Specify requirements for environment, data, resources, and tools.
7. Interpret, execute, and document complex test scripts.
8. Record, analyze actions/results, and maintain a defect register.
9. Review and modify test plans as needed.
10. Specify test strategies to meet testing objectives.
11. Ensure software quality before UAT acceptance.
12. Provide progress, risk, and issue reports.
13. Collect metrics on test cases and system quality.
14. Support and advise others with testing expertise.
15. Develop documentation to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Requirements
- Maintain mechanisms for end-to-end testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for diverse user groups.
- Demonstrate capability with technologies including cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, staying updated with industry tools and trends.
- Provide an example from the last 5 years where the resource implemented online services within a client organization.
- Provide an example from the last 5 years demonstrating the ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of systems, processes, and organizational structures.
