Urgent Care Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced physician to fill a 9-month fixed-term contract position for an Urgent Care Physician working in our clinic.
This role offers a competitive salary, performance-related bonus, unsocial hours allowance, and company pension benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to patients presenting with urgent care needs.
- Minor injuries treatment, including sprains, fractures, and wounds.
- Facilitate referrals to specialists as necessary.
- Initial interpretation of x-rays and ECGs.
- Treat patients who attend the clinic for consultation.
- Registered with the Irish Medical Council.
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in clinical practice, including significant experience in general practice and a minimum of 2 years recent urgent care/emergency medicine experience.
- Training in emergency medicine, general practice, or other postgraduate qualification would be highly beneficial.
- 6 months experience with pediatric patients is desirable.
- Flexibility across a 7-day roster.
- BLS certification.
- Patient-focused approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good knowledge of risk management and clinical audit.
