Overview Job Title: Food Safety and Quality Assistant Reporting to: Site FSQ Manager Role Type: Permanent, Full time Location: Grannagh Co. Waterford Job Purpose: To assist in the Food Safety, Quality and Animal Welfare function mission, complying with all relevant legislation and the requirements of all our clients. The job holder will be directly accountable to the FSQ Manager for assistance in the management of these activities according to the standards agreed by the business, whilst supporting the team and quality culture within the department. The job holder will help and support at all times, the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude. Support and assist in the production of Safe, Quality Product, Adherence to legal and approved standard requirements, and Animal Welfare. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be based in our Grannagh primary production facility and will be responsible for: Supporting the FSQ Manager on the implementation and continuing improvement of the Quality Management System on site. This includes the management and completion of: Samples Records Audits, Check sheets, Procedures, Manuals, SOP`s. Shipping and Traceability documentation: To assist the FSQ Departments in its key business objective, to be "recognised as industry leaders in Food Safety, Quality, Innovation and Animal Welfare." Qualifications Your role will see you tackle a wide range of business challenges in a busy food production environment. The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate: English is required Computer skills - Word, Exel an advantage Training will be given on site Experience in Food processing/QC work is an advantage Self-motivated, professionally driven approach to problem solving with the ability to deliver improvements INDLP To be considered for this role you will be redirected to and must complete the application process on our careers page.
