Job description About Us: Foscadh g is a newly established social care service provider. Our service has been developed to support the care and welfare of separated children seeking international protection. We have established residential care home facilitates within local communities. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive homes for separated children in Ireland. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Assistant Support Workers to join our team and play a key role in the provision of services. Key Responsibilities: To provide high quality, safe, effective, person-centered front-line care to all young persons within the business To implement Plans in line with individual resident needs To engage in key working duties as assigned by the Person in Charge. To assist the Person in Charge in the overall management of the centre/home through any tasks delegated by the Person in Charge. Requirements: Essential Major award QQI Level 5 in healthcare or equivalent Prior experience in a similar role Experience in caring for people Experience of report writing and personal support plans Experience and maturity to set and deliver goals on own initiative An understanding of basic mental health issues, medical, social care, social welfare systems and social care, social welfare payments, child welfare and protection and youth work A compassionate and empathetic style Knowledge of National Standards for Children's Residential Centres What We Offer: A supportive and inclusive work environment.
