Job Title: Senior Reinsurance Claims Manager Location: Dublin City Centre Working Model: Hybrid Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Senior Reinsurance Claims Manager to join our client within the international (re)insurance sector. This is a senior, hands-on role managing complex global claims across multiple product lines, while supporting a growing Dublin-based team. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the claims' function, partnering closely with underwriting and actuarial colleagues to deliver a more proactive, data-led approach to claims handling. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claims professional seeking autonomy, impact, and exposure within a global business. Your Role Manage a varied portfolio of reinsurance claims across Casualty, Property, Trade Credit, Workers Compensation, and Speciality lines. Review broker submissions, agree settlements, and ensure appropriate reserving and documentation. Partner with underwriters and actuaries to share insights and enhance underwriting outcomes. Oversee TPAs, adjusters, and external partners, maintaining high service standards. Lead and participate in audits of cedants, MGAs, and DCAs. Identify trends and produce management reports on large or complex losses. Contribute to ongoing claims transformation projects and system enhancements. Your Skills Minimum of five years' experience in (re)insurance claims management. Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage complex losses independently. Experience overseeing delegated authority, binders, or third-party administrators. Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills. Comfortable working collaboratively across underwriting and actuarial teams. Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in decision-making.
