Dublin, Ireland GPC Finance Full time

A leading Irish professional services firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Taxation Specialist to join its expanding Tax department. The role involves managing a diverse client portfolio ranging from SMEs to large international groups, with direct exposure to partners and significant opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with partners and liaise with other departments, including Audit and Corporate Finance.

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with a wide portfolio of clients.

- Prepare tax computations across all tax heads, including income tax, corporation tax, and capital taxes.

- Compute adjusted profit, prepare Capital Allowances Schedules, and file income tax returns using ROS.

- Handle Revenue audits/investigations and related client correspondence.

- Provide tax planning support for transactions such as buy-outs, company valuations, and restructuring.

- Manage CT1 preparation and submission for limited companies via ROS.

- Organise and manage a personal portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met.

- Critically analyse information, prioritise workload, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years’ senior-level experience in taxation.

- Strong technical knowledge across all tax heads.

- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage client relationships.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle complex tax matters.

- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to use initiative.

Salary & Benefits

- Excellent starting salary €65,000 – €75,000
