Group Financial Accountant | International Tech and Manufacturing Sector
Our client is a technology focused manufacturing group with operations in Ireland, UK, USA and Europe. Their products work across scientific research, aerospace, and industrial markets – from deep Earth exploration to cutting edge cancer research to satellites in the far reaches of space. Due to growth across all areas of their business, they require a Group Financial Accountant to join their team on a full‑time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and detailed commentary on variance analysis and KPIs
- Supporting the delivery of financial forecasts, annual budgets, weekly, monthly and quarterly trading forecasts
- Prepare annual audit schedules, liaising with the Audit Field Team and guaranteeing the submission of statutory tax returns and other statistical data
- Working on advisory/acquisition projects
Who the opportunity will suit
- A recently qualified accountant
- Someone looking to make their first move from practice
- Someone who is happy to do some travel
- Have an interest in cutting edge technology and how it is manufactured
About you
- Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CPIA
- Have trained in a Big 4/Top 10 Firm
- Happy with international travel – Circa one week per month will be required working from a subsidiary company in the UK
- Have strong communication skills
- Have a desire to learn and take ownership of projects
