Tax Accounting Technician | Top 10 Firm | Dublin

Are you interested in expanding your knowledge and skills in tax, while collaborating with a supportive team? Our client is currently offering an outstanding position in their Tax department for a motivated Tax Technician or Accounting Technician with substantial tax expertise.

This role primarily focuses on tax, but also offers the chance to cultivate and enrich your abilities in delivering exceptional tax solutions and advice to a diverse clientele across various tax disciplines. If you hold an Accounting Technician / Tax Technician qualification and have at least 1-2 years of experience working in Tax in either Industry or Practice, we encourage you to explore this exciting opportunity to advance your career

Key Responsibilities will include –

- Assisting the management team in maintaining and developing the firm’s relationship with a portfolio of clients including co-ordination of service offerings from other departments

- Ensuring that the payment and return filing deadlines are met for a portfolio of corporate and income tax clients

- Acting as a key member of an integrated client service team working on a wide range of assignments including tax advisory projects

- Contributing towards collective (departmental) targets for billing, net fee income and cash collection as well as personal and firm-wide goals

About you –

- Part-qualified accountant or accounting technician, or business/accounting graduate

- 1-2 years’ experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively to deadlines

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

- Knowledge of computerized accounts packages is an advantage (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage Line 50, Surf, Xero, Accounts IQ, Quickbooks)

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
