Next on the slate is a serious push to develop a destination restaurant business. Chefs who dream of picking and foraging seasonal ingredients and developing menus that highlight the best of what our soil has to offer will relish this challenge.
Responsibilities Lead the kitchen's transition to a fully organic state by implementing a regenerative model.
Put Irish produce in front of guests as a collaborative effort with the Head Gardener.
Provide leadership for a kitchen that serves high-end events and contributes to the development of a destination restaurant business.
Requirements Experience with large events and catering is valued, but not crucial, as the business has strong systems in place.
Experience with seasonal produce and menu development.
A love of food and a positive attitude toward working as part of a team with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments (e.g., with the Head Gardener) and contribute to sustainable practices.
