Sector: Private Wealth - HNW Individual
Location: Dublin City Centre - Hybrid
Our Client: Our client is a High Net Worth individual whose portfolio is diversified across numerous locations and assets. Their wealth has experienced significant growth over the past 3 years, with plans for further investment and development in the coming years.
Why should you apply? This is a senior financial accountant role that will enable the successful candidate to progress to a senior role within 1.5 – 2 years. Highly attractive remuneration package including excellent base salary, healthcare, pension and bonus potential will be on offer.
Who should apply? Candidate should be a practice‑trained finance professional with the capabilities to step into a decision‑making financial controller position. From speaking with our client, we have put together potential backgrounds of prospective candidates:
Commercial acumen – must know and understand how businesses operate
Able to adapt to a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same
Entrepreneurial mindset – able to look at things differently and identify opportunities for improvement, whether in growth or cost reduction
Must be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
Willingness to work hard under their own initiative and solve problems if they arise
Role and Reporting Lines Reporting to the CFO and assisting in the running of day‑to‑day finance operations, the role will be very broad involving:
Report preparation – quarterly management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations, year‑end accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparation of audited financial statements
Working with the commercial team to set realistic and tangible budgets and forecasts while investigating variances
Compliance – ensuring financial compliance across various structures
Finance operations – hands‑on involvement
Banking – quarterly banking compliance certificate completions, managing senior debt function
Fundraising – understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
Tax planning – liaising with tax advisors
Financial modelling and monthly projections, including cash‑flow planning
