Enable Ireland is an organisation that makes a real difference to the lives of children and adults with disabilities in Ireland. We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Psychologist to join our team.
Posts are either based in Sandymount or Leopardstown. Our Leopardstown office is ideally situated within a HSE building at Leopardstown Shopping Centre, offering excellent connectivity and a vibrant working environment. Our Sandymount office is located in a vibrant seaside village with a welcoming community feel.
Contract Type: Permanent and specified purpose posts. Contract Hours: Full and part time hours available. Salary Scale: €91,190 – €107,186 pro rata per annum.
Overview of the Post: To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a psychology service to an assigned caseload.
Responsibilities: Assessment diagnostics and intervention, clinical and performance supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.
Essential Criteria:
Recognised university degree or diploma in Psychology.
Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for.
Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or the British Psychological Society (BPS).
At least five years’ satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience in a senior post.
Experience of facilitating parent groups.
Experience of inter or trans-disciplinary team working.
Experience of working with children aged from birth to 18 years, with a range of disabilities.
