Dublin, Ireland DocuSign, Inc. Full time

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business‑critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e‑signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you’ll do

In the position of a Senior Product Manager – Developer Experience, you will be responsible for helping shape key aspects of our extensibility story—how partners bring their products into Docusign—for developers and partners. In particular, you will focus on enabling developers to contribute to our Data, AI Model, and AI Agent layers that make up the foundation of Intelligent in our Intelligent Agreement Management strategy. Partner contributions to these platforms and products are critical to scaling our IAM vision internationally and across all industries and lines of business.

You will define the extensibility strategy and roadmap for enabling developers to bring data into and write data out of Docusign’s data platforms; customize our data models; enable our out‑of‑the‑box models to integrate with external systems to augment prompt responses; and supply their own agents to address unique use cases which supplement those Docusign provides out of the box. The successful candidate will deeply understand the Docusign AI product strategy in particular and the wider IAM strategy as a whole, the role Developers need to play in order to accomplish it, and contribute towards a Developer Experience that makes it possible. This is a highly visible, strategic role that sits at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing, and the developer community.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Management for Build Developer Experiences.

Responsibility

- Define and execute the product strategy for the Data IO, AI Model/LLM, and Agent extensibility developer journey by identifying key areas developers/partners are best positioned to help us scale in those areas and driving problem discovery, solution implementation, and GTM.

- Own the short, mid, and long‑term product roadmaps for the aforementioned extension types, iteratively bringing those capabilities to life, ensuring they are adopted by developers, and ultimately solve critical end customer problems that enable IAM to scale.

- Champion a data‑driven culture, utilizing metrics such as extension apps built and published using the above extension types; customization rate of our data and agent platforms by partners; and inbound/output transactions related to Data, AI Model/LLM, and Agent extensibility to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Provide drivership across multiple product and engineering teams in a federated model, using your influence and deep market knowledge to ensure core product roadmaps account for the needs of our developer and partner ecosystems inline with the product scope defined above.

- Collaborate closely with Developer Content, Advocacy, and Marketing teams to ensure developers can easily discover, learn about, build, publish, and maintain extension apps using these extension types.

- Own timely, transparent communication to leadership and key stakeholders on the progress of this extensibility charter, attainment of key metrics, strategic roadmap, and ultimately the impact on adoption of core IAM products and related experiences.

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in‑office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in‑office expectation).

What you bring

Basic

- 8+ years of product management experience in developer experiences and/or developer platforms.

- Experience shipping and managing developer‑facing products such as APIs, Dev Docs, extensions, or similar developer platform primitives that enable bi‑directional integration of products.

- Experience articulating complex technical concepts to both developer and executive audiences via mechanisms like research summaries, solution roadmaps, requirement documents, execution updates, launch communications, adoption reports, etc.

- Ability to multi‑task and work independently or with minimal supervision; Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably in a global setup.

Preferred

- Proficiency in the architecture of modern AI agent systems: from the role of high‑quality data in model fine‑tuning and RAG, to the design of agents that orchestrate models and serve as powerful natural language interfaces for customers.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- A proven track record of successfully identifying customer problems ground up, defining strategy, delivering solutions, and ensuring developer adoption (not just delivering features).

- An experienced influencer with the ability to collaborate well and drive alignment in a matrixed environment having multiple stakeholders.

- Strong technical background, with the ability to engage in design discussions with engineering on topics like extension contract and packaging design, end‑to‑end developer experiences, and with Experience Design on topics such as Information Architecture and content.

- A data‑driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform product strategy, prioritization and adoption.
