We celebrate our people for their innovation, perseverance, and teamwork in a fun and rewarding environment. If you want to help transform ideas into connected device reality—come join us.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To own and support successful project execution across the IoT organisation, and to plan, organize, and control activities so that projects are completed as successfully as possible despite risks and setbacks.
The role is particularly suited to candidates with a track record of bringing hardware products from prototype through detailed design into mass manufacture. The role also involves acting as the central coordinator across engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure alignment from design through production.
We design and manufacture compact, connected hardware devices—including smart medical products, IoT asset trackers, and wireless gateways—that integrate PCBA design, embedded software, RF systems, mechanical engineering, and cloud connectivity. Our products typically feature cellular, GNSS, BLE, and sensor technologies, and are deployed globally across healthcare, mobility, and industrial markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with engineering teams to plan and execute projects, ensuring appropriate specifications, direction, and resources are in place.
- Be the one voice for your projects with customers and external clients, managing their expectations effectively.
- Establish realistic estimates and timelines with internal and external teams, and ensure continuous monitoring and mentoring.
- Ensure alignment with company policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmaps.
- Identify and plan key program milestones.
- Monitor project health and provide weekly updates to all stakeholders.
- Establish mechanisms for metrics, planning, and estimation methodologies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to motivate and coach team members.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks relating to cost, quality, and schedule.
- Communicate project blockers and escalate where management support is needed.
- Work with the PMO to implement and improve program execution methodologies
- Drive the transition from prototype to mass production by coordinating cross-functional activities spanning design validation, manufacturing test development, and supplier readiness.
- Own the project lifecycle end-to-end, with accountability for planning, execution, manufacturing readiness, and successful mass production handover.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in a technical project management role within connected IoT device development.
- Strong experience in the design and development of connected IoT devices.
- Deep understanding of embedded software, electrical hardware, and mechanical design processes.
- Proven ability to lead projects and products from early-stage prototype through design validation and into stable, high-volume mass manufacture.
- Experience working closely with contract manufacturers and applying DFM/DFT best practices.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and collaborative project tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Experience delivering certified wireless products and navigating compliance and testing.
- Outgoing, collaborative, and solution-oriented positive attitude.
- Strong people management and coordination skills.
- Ability to foresee and mitigate unexpected project issues.
