Overview
Financial Planning & Analytics Officer role at KPMG Ireland . Location: Dublin 2 , as part of our hybrid working model. Grade: Officer . Contract type: Permanent .

Responsibilities

Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across the firm.

Support development and maintenance of robust and agile budgeting and forecasting systems, tailored to meet the varied needs of the business.

Detailed analytical review of monthly financial performance, providing insights and commentary to business owners.

Deliver meaningful and insightful variance analysis and commentary.

Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior management.

Be part of specific Finance and Firm Projects to improve technology and innovation.

Deal with a volume of ad hoc business queries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis or data analytics in businesses of sufficient scale and complexity.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work confidently with large and complex datasets.

Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred but not required.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems. Previous SAP experience desirable.

Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to be flexible in meeting changing priorities and to work as a team player with excellent communication skills.

Ability to take direction and then work on own initiative.
