Your Role and Responsibilities

The Turbonomic Product Management team is accountable to numerous stakeholders including customers, partners, sellers, enablement, support, etc. globally. Our team needs to make sure we continuously provide these stakeholders with the exact strategy and content needed to facilitate sales, unlock new paths to market, ensure renewals, establish our presence in the market and support existing customers.

This position will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing the strategy used by the Product Management team to deliver all of this to our stakeholders. You’ll have the vision, execute against it, and measure and analyze results every step of the way to ensure success, make data-informed decisions, and continuously improve your and the team’s efforts.

What you'll do:

1. Build cloud-cost DevOps Integration features in the product while collaborating with the engineering, documentation, and design teams.
2. Lead discovery sessions with customers and other stakeholders, to uncover requirements alongside design, user research and engineering.
3. Understand the customer requirements, and their relative priorities and map those out in systems of record, culminating in an engineering backlog of well-defined, high-quality, prioritized user stories that deliver solutions to meet and exceed stakeholder requirements.
4. Act as a consultant and SME to various sales engineers and peers and help in understanding solutions and feature behavior for various business use cases.
5. Deliver technical presentations detailing the value proposition of features as well as including the entire software stack.
6. Collaborate with software architects to discuss potential solutions to customer problems.
7. Work closely with developers to identify any gaps between developed features and acceptance criteria, to investigate and resolve any technical issues.
8. Participate in most phases of the Product Development Life Cycle discovering, delivering, and launching solutions to help customers meet their business objectives.
9. Architect and implement methodologies and test approaches that validate features and ensure the accuracy of quality requirements.
10. Develop performance benchmarks, monitor feature usage & test the software deployments to establish performance baselines to meet response time & scalability requirements.
11. Use a combination of customer data and market research to prioritize new functionality into an aggressive roadmap that balances new functionality, improvements, and technical debt.
12. Ensure field teams have the content and context necessary to help customers leverage all functionality (new and existing) in your defined area.
13. Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- At minimum 1-2 years of technical software product management experience.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to draw clarity out of complex and ever-changing environments.
- Has product management background with software integrations settings and familiar with modern DevOps pipeline tooling such as Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, Harness, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Pipelines.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

- Combine creative thinking and analytics to develop a deep understanding of Turbonomic’s business.
- Experience with user data to make product recommendations for the roadmap to improve feature engagement.
- Understand the complexity of multiple stakeholders (our target personas) across the buyer journey and use that knowledge to create tailored programs.
- Have solid organizational skills, be strategic in your thought processes, and structured in your execution.
