On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
The team's mission is to create a safe and positive experience for users and developers of Play, Android, the Chrome Web Store and other form factors (Auto, TV and Wear) by ensuring fair, clear, flexible policies that enable business opportunities and success, while balancing user trust, expression, access to information, and a constantly changing external environment. As a critical part of the Google Trust and Safety organization, the Play and Android Policy team’s mission is to promote a positive experience for users and developers. You will help work toward this goal by developing and implementing fair and consistent policies and by protecting the online safety of our users. We are responsible for developing and launching new policies: for content and behaviours. We serve as policy experts on cross-functional teams. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to work to gain consensus on important, cross-functional policy issues and solution.
Responsibilities

- Engage with and influence key stakeholders, including leadership, across Google Play and Android to identify emerging policy needs.
- Lead the global strategy for Real Money Gambling, including understanding and evaluating the nuances between regulated gambling and unregulated gaming.
