Automation Process Engineer - Ireland, Sligo - 12-18 Months Contract

Located on the picturesque west coast of Ireland, our global pharmaceutical client is seeking an Automation Process Engineer to join their state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility. They have invested $55 billion in research to discover and develop new medicines, aiming for scientific breakthroughs that improve lives. With 50,000 employees worldwide, the company continues to grow.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

- Manage the execution of projects within the engineering group.
- Carry out and implement equipment and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the performance of day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance activities to maintain manufacturing and utility equipment.
- Establish department goals, schedules, and timetables with the engineering manager.
- Assist with the management and support of manufacturing equipment development.
- Present technical data to stakeholders to facilitate prompt decision-making.
- Negotiate cost- and quality-effective external contracts.

Desirable Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
- Team leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of the business
