About The Role

As a Marketing Cloud Specialist, you'll be instrumental in shaping our customer communication strategy. You'll optimize event-based and transactional workflows, ensuring timely and personalized messaging, while also strategically partnering with business teams to translate their goals into scalable technical solutions aligned with our broader Marketing, Sales, and Software objectives.

You’ll lead the technical execution within Marketing Cloud, managing data extensions, AMPscript, and dynamic content, always ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA). Collaborating with developers, you'll configure API calls, data syncs, and real-time message triggers. You will guide design, testing, QA, and deployment, troubleshooting issues and documenting technical specifications. Your proactive approach will include championing new feature developments in Marketing Cloud that drive significant benefits across reMarkable.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify new feature developments within Marketing Cloud, advocating for those that align with and deliver benefits to wider reMarkable business goals.

Champion platform adoption and knowledge sharing by supporting super user and stakeholder training sessions and developing comprehensive enablement documentation.

Drive strategic business enablement by working with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions within Marketing Cloud, aligning with Marketing, Sales, and Software objectives.

Lead prioritization meetings and manage sprints for the Marketing stream, ensuring efficient project delivery.

Act as the primary point of contact for key partnerships such as Signature Success MCE and DeSelect, fostering strong relationships and maximizing platform value.

Build and optimize event-based triggered customer journeys (e.g., payment confirmations, shipping updates), including data extensions, AMPscript, and templates.

We Are Looking For Someone With

Minimum 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related technologies.

Strong expertise in designing and optimizing marketing automation workflows.

Experience with AMPscript, dynamic content, and transactional templates.

Knowledge of API integrations and data synchronization processes.

Familiarity with compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).

Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and facilitating workshops

Experience in troubleshooting technical issues related to email systems and integrations.

As a person you have collaborative mindset who is passionate about continuous improvement and actively seeks opportunities to drive technical solutions. You have strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.

Practical Information

Location: This is a relocation opportunity and this role will be based in Oslo, Norway.

Visa requirements: Citizenship/valid work permit from the EU/EEA. (Relocation assistance can be provided).
