Quantity Surveyor Major Commercial & Residential Projects Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: €75,000 €95,000 per annum + Comprehensive Package The Employer ?? We are running a confidential search for a Tier 1 Main Contractor widely recognised as a market leader in the Irish construction sector. This organisation specialises in delivering flagship, high-value commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments across Dublin. They offer a highly structured and supportive environment, providing Quantity Surveyors with the opportunity to manage large, complex work packages and achieve rapid career progression. The Role We require a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a project team on a major Dublin-based scheme. This role involves taking ownership of significant commercial packages, ensuring robust cost control, and maximising project profitability. You will report directly to the Commercial Manager or Senior Surveyor. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full commercial lifecycle for key sub-contract packages from initial procurement through to final account. Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontract documents, ensuring compliance with contractual terms. Conduct accurate monthly valuations, prepare detailed Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), and manage cash flow forecasts. Effectively handle all variations, claims, and change control procedures with both clients and subcontractors. Work collaboratively with site management and design teams to maintain commercial integrity. Candidate Profile A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, primarily gained with a Tier 1 or large Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK. Proven expertise in managing multi-million euro sub-contract packages. Strong working knowledge of standard forms of contract and Irish construction legislation.
