A leading construction cost consultancy in Dublin, known for delivering excellence across a diverse portfolio of building projects, are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the team. They are a team of expert consultants who support clients across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. As a Quantity Surveyor, youll play a vital role in delivering accurate cost advice and ensuring best value across all stages of project development. This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 3 years of post-graduate experience in building projects, who is looking to progress their career within a supportive consultancy environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender documents Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises Manage project budgets, valuations, and change control Prepare and negotiate final accounts Provide commercial advice and risk analysis to clients Attend project and client meetings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success Mentor and support junior team members, if required Requirements Degree level qualified in Quantity Surveying 3 years+ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a consultancy, client side or developer environment Proven experience working on building projects (residential, educational, or mixed-use preferred) Strong understanding of Irish construction practices and regulations Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Excel, MS Project) Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail Working towards or already chartered (MRICS/SCSI) is a distinct advantage Must hold full eligibility to work in Ireland On Offer Competitive salary package based on experience Annual bonus & pension Flexible working arrangements (hybrid) Professional development and chartership support Clear and structured career progression path Collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture If you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager eager for a new opportunity within a leading consultancy firm in Dublin city, please send your CV to Deborah Byrne for more information.
