Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Public Health Nursing and Midwifery within UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems The School wishes to appoint a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Public Health Nursing and Midwifery to contribute to teaching, programme management, curriculum design and enhancement and academic administration on the School's graduate-taught programme in Public Health Nursing, and to work with clinical personnel in the Public Health Nursing services in supporting student learning. In addition to teaching and administrative duties, the post holder will engage in research and scholarship in the discipline and will contribute to the development of the School's research agenda. The post holder will be expected to assume leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Dean and Head of School. 95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €64,753 - €102,539 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.5 FTE Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 15 October 2025 Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
