Company Governance and Secretariat Manager Location: Cork (Hybrid) May consider other locations if candidates are prepared to spend time in Cork. Are you an experienced governance professional looking for a central, high-impact role? We are seeking a Company Governance and Secretariat Manager to manage and develop the Secretariat function, acting as a key link between the Board and the business. Key Responsibilities: *Oversee Board and Committee meetings, agendas, papers, minutes, and follow-ups. *Manage subsidiary boards and corporate governance compliance. *Advise senior management on governance, company law, and regulatory matters. *Coordinate ministerial and regulatory consent requests. *Oversee corporate policies, statutory filings, and registers. *Coach junior team members and support Board member induction and training. *Drive accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all governance processes. What Were Looking For: *Minimum 5 years senior experience in company secretarial or governance roles. *Third-level qualification in law, governance, business, or related field. *Strong knowledge of Irish company law and public sector governance. *Experience in semi-state or regulated entities is a plus. *Excellent organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills. *Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
