Due to continued growth my client wishes to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor in Cork

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide commercial and contractual administration support to the Senior QS and/or Commercial Manager
- Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports
- Supporting the management of applicable subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Assisting with reporting on project budgets and variations
- Distribute and track invoices to various project owners / leads for approval
- Respond to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments (including monthly accruals) in a professional and timely manner

Specific Requirements

- Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Trade Qualification or similar
- 1- 3 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector.
- Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.
- Good communication skills and high computer literacy.
- Full license and own reliable transport.
