Project Manager Role
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Project Manager will be responsible for the management of public lighting projects in the Connacht Region.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure projects are delivered meeting the respective safety, quality, and cost objectives of the business and clients.
2. Analyse and report Project portfolio performance including KPI monitoring, budget, cost control, risk management, client billing, cash flow, and implementing rapid recovery as required.
3. Manage Project tasks and key deliverables via the development and management of detailed Schedules & Programmes of works for Projects, including identification and management of resource requirements, plant & equipment, and materials.
4. Manage and co-ordinate workflows between site crews, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
5. Act as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, designers, and other stakeholders.
6. Prepare and present detailed progress reports to clients and management.
7. Manage changes and variations in project scope, including communicating them effectively to the QS team for pricing and cost recovery.
8. Actively partake in the implementation of business operating systems to improve efficiency throughout the organisation, specifically but not limited to the area of project management.
9. Manage a high performing team ensuring all goals and objectives are met in line with company values.

Education Requirements
Qualified Level 8 Degree in Project Management or Energy/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering.
Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years Project Management experience delivering projects.
2. Demonstrable evidence of strong commercial acumen and client relationship management.
3. Experience in applying lean principles to work activities.
4. Strong organisational and time management skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying project goals and updates.
6. Excellent IT skills using Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel.
7. Can make ethical decisions, especially when faced with challenging situations.
8. Strong technical understanding of the electrical construction/utility industry.
9. Familiarity with project management tools to streamline planning, tracking, and reporting processes.
10. Must have a customer-oriented mindset to ensure that project outcomes align with client expectations.
11. Flexibility to adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and priorities.
