An esteemed multinational, multidisciplinary design consultancy is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Associate Director to lead and manage mechanical engineering projects across Ireland. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Technical Excellence: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to integrate best practices and innovative technologies into projects.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the consultancy by identifying new opportunities and assisting in proposal development.
To be considered for the role, you should have the following:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a design consultancy environment
- Demonstrated expertise in managing projects in Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
- Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable
