Job Description This is a temporary contract for a 12-month duration working within our Retail Marketing Team. The Retail Marketing team at An Post plays a key role in crafting and delivering strategic marketing plans that attract and retain our valued customers. Reporting to the Marketing Manager for An Post Money, you will manage the development and delivery of marketing activity for selected products creating impactful, multi-channel campaigns that drive both engagement and growth. You will demonstrate a consistent record in leveraging data insights to deliver effective multi-channel marketing campaigns, excellent commercial savvy, great people and collaboration skills, and a tenacity to achieve business goals while always putting the customer first. You will have outstanding organisational skills and a proven ability to balance competing demands and deliver multiple projects / campaigns. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the An Post Money Marketing Manager, Brand and Product/Commercial teams to shape your product portfolio, marketing strategy and plan. Dive into customer data to truly understand the audience and uncover meaningful opportunities for growth. Deliver engaging, creative campaigns and smart media plans for your product portfolio across ATL and BTL channels. Keep POS materials and brochures fresh and relevant for your portfolio as needs evolve. Support ongoing updates to our web channels with a focus on boosting SEO, driving conversions, and ensuring accuracy/regulatory compliance Partner with the CRM team to build thoughtful, timely customer communications that drive engagement and cross-selling. Work alongside the DPO, Compliance, Product teams and third parties to manage approvals and compliance with all applicable regulation/policies With the An Post Money Marketing Manager, Digital Performance team and media agency, leverage data to make informed decisions about media spend and optimisation across the Retail portfolio For your product portfolio, manage reporting for campaigns and focus on distillation of data into actionable insights for continuous iterative improvement. Lead performance marketing efforts for your product portfolio on retail digital platforms and ensure they are structured and optimised to deliver commercial targets. Monitor and manage budgets - identifying opportunities to make smart, efficient decisions. Nurture strong, collaborative relationships with creative and media agencies to develop and maintain relationships for best outcomes for An Post. Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth delivery of marketing activity Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making within An Post retail. Do this by consistently providing evidence based insights (using data) in a format that is easily understandable for key decision makers within the business. Demonstrate An Post Values and behaviours in your day-to-day work and address behaviour that supports/conflicts with them. Qualifications The successful candidate will have 5+ years marketing experience in a commercial/retail organisation and a strong understanding of commercials, ideally with strong ATL, digital and social marketing skills. A curiosity about data and experience in financial services or regulated marketing is an advantage. Strong creative and media judgement and excellent project management skills are key. You should have a good knowledge of marketing strategy and performance analytics. Digital marketing qualifications and demonstrable experience, while not essential is a distinct advantage. Applicants must follow the standard Company rules and regulations regarding conduct, performance and attendance. Salary The salary for this position is based on the CM1 pay range (median €79,269). The usual starting pay and promotion rules apply for those being promoted: that is the higher of either (i) 80% of the median (€63,415) or (ii) the total of existing pay plus any productivity allowance, plus 5% of basic pay. Appointment There will be a six-month probationary period and process in place for the individual appointed to this position. Should a successful candidate fail to achieve the standards expected at any stage during the probationary period, there will be early, effective intervention designed to enable them to reach and maintain acceptable standards of performance. However, should they fail to reach and maintain these standards following this intervention; they will revert to their previous grading/position and to the salary point they would have reached if they had continued in that grade, provided the record of service during their period in the position now advertised was satisfactory from the point of view of conduct.
