Urgent Search Head of Finance

An established not-for-profit organisation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead its finance function across multiple service centres nationwide. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board of Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the finance team across 15 service centres.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g. HSE, HIQA, Charities Regulator).
- Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and KPIs.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and insurance processes.
- Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders.
- Support strategic initiatives and organisational change.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience in the not-for-profit or public sector is desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
