Main Duties and Responsibilities As a Senior or Principal, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Technical report writing
Flood modelling and Flood risk Assessment
Providing leadership by overseeing, guiding, and managing junior team members and sub-consultants to meet project requirements effectively
Communicating with clients, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with all project requirements
Assisting in project and program management for large and complex projects, including post-planning approval assistance
Preparation of and creating proposals to address client needs
Qualifications MSc in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrology or related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the environmental sector
Self-motivated, organised and capable of working on their own initiative
High attention to detail, excellent report writing, and communication skills
Ability to problem solve and assemble various strands of complex data into clear, concise outputs
Capacity to respond to tight timelines, reporting needs, and internal reporting structures
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
