As a Conference & Events Supervisor, you will help the Conference & Events Manager create memorable guest experiences, drive performance, and foster a strong culture of teamwork while keeping all standards and procedures in place during events.

Your Job

- Oversee all conferences and events at the hotel, from initial inquiries to handover to the operations team.

- Act as the primary contact for conference and event inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.

- Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.

- Manage the Sales and Catering function in Alikmii, ensuring accurate event entries and detailed function sheets.

- Conduct weekly operations meetings to coordinate event details with relevant departments.

- Ensure effective follow-up with clients to secure business and address their information needs.

- Communicate changes to events with the Reservations, Operations Manager, and Head Chef.

- Build relationships with current clients and develop new customer connections.

- Work with suppliers to order necessary equipment for weddings and events.

- Organize external wedding fairs and internal showcases.

- Conduct post-event follow-ups and aftersales calls.

- Prepare reports as scheduled and perform proactive telesales to meet budget targets.

- Lead the events team and ensure monthly revenue goals are achieved.

What You’ll Need

- At least 2 years of experience in Wedding, Conference and Events or Sales role is required.

- An in-depth knowledge of PMS and S&C is essential.

- Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel is desired but not essential

- Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication skills]

- Micros and Opera Experience would be preferable

- Be able to work on your own initiative and cope well under pressure
