A Day in the Life This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of the manufacturing application portfolio, ensuring that all applications support strategic objectives and operate efficiently. Key duties include developing application roadmaps, monitoring performance, evaluating new solutions, coordinating integration efforts, overseeing the application lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and providing timely updates to senior management. Come for a job, stay for a career A Day in The Life Of: Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Collaborate with business stakeholders/ IT Regional directors to understand their needs and ensure applications meet business requirements Develop and maintain application roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals Monitor application performance and usage, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction Lead the evaluation and selection of new applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical standards. Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and support of applications. Manage application lifecycle, including upgrades, decommissioning and replacement Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status and performance of the application portfolio Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company's data, tools and information systems and compliance with security and regulatory requirements for all applications Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function Key Skills & Experience Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple areas, and detailed functional and operational expertise Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
