Warehouse Operative / Administrator - Food Manufacturing Location: County Laois Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: €28,000 - €30,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm Our client, a growing food manufacturing company based in County Laois, is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic organisation with long-term growth potential. Key Responsibilities: Inspecting incoming and outgoing loads for missing or damaged items. Maintaining accurate records of inventory and warehouse activity. Locating goods efficiently and managing storage systems. Optimising space and organisation within the warehouse. Recording the movement of all stock and materials. Stocktaking and entering data into the traceability and stock systems. Ensuring cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. Performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, power washing, and operating floor scrubbers/dryers. Operating pallet trucks, VNA (Very Narrow Aisle trucks), and forklifts (training will be provided). Assisting with deliveries, including loading/unloading lorries transporting goods between the production site and warehouse. Handling general administrative duties, including customer service and placing stock orders with suppliers. Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email. Completing all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Candidate Profile: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Previous experience in a warehouse or administrative role is desirable. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Willingness to undertake training for equipment use and system procedures.
