We are hiring for our client, a respected and well-established organisation in Monaghan, who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days) to join their growing team. This Maintenance Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a secure industry with an excellent hourly rate and strong overtime rate, providing both financial earning power and good work/life balance

The Role:

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to reduce downtime

• Complete routine inspections and ensure accurate records of maintenance activities

• Collaborate with production teams to support efficiency and reliability

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and health & safety standards

The Person:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills essential

• Recognised engineering qualification desirable

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
